Sunwolf Sessions chronicles a journey through heartbreak and hope set to a downtempo, freak folk adventure, reminiscent of hazy summer nights filled with acid washed guitars and blissful, laid-back beats.

Originally recorded in 2010, the collection pays homage to the band’s previous name, “Sunwolf,” and is a rediscovery of the their roots and the essence of their unique Thunderpaw sound. It marks the long-awaited unveiling of the very first collection the band ever recorded, kept under wraps until now.

The EP was produced and mixed by  Federico Aubele and features Lou Lou Ghelichkhani from Thievery Corporation and Night Glitter on the track Cherry Crush. Additionally, the talented Natalia Clavier from Thievery Corporation joins in as a backing vocalist on the tracks: The Hunted, Hermosilla, and The Dreamer.

In 2024, Thunderpaw released the Special K Mix of Cherry Crush as a stand-alone single.
