This is “Children of the Sun,” the fifth release in the Wabi Sabi Series, a monthly drip of sketches, demo tracks, and short clips celebrating imperfection and impermanence.
We have been at this quarantine business for 5 months now, it doesn’t feel so much a quarantine than just another twisted wrinkle to this mind fuck of a year. In an effort to help ease the discomfort, we present two epic long-form jams this month instead of four sketches. The title track, “Children of the Sun,” is an 8-minute meditation/drone track to get yourself into a relaxed state of mind. It’s the mist of creation rising to bring light to the night. With the medicine comes the sugar… a little bit of rock and roll called “Every Single Day.”
It’s what we are living with.
